Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint & spearmint. It is one of the oldest herbs used for both culinary and medicinal products. Indigenous to Europe and the Middle East, the plant is now widely spread and cultivated in many regions. This plant is a resourceful everlasting herb that has been cherished since ancient times. People have used peppermint oil for centuries to treat many illnesses, including digestive conditions, colds and headaches.
